When you’re choosing the right deodorant for you, there are a few considerations it’s helpful to keep in mind. The first is choosing between natural or synthetic formulas. Natural formulas are typically plant and oil-based, free of aluminum and excessive chemicals. These are great for those with sensitivities or allergies, or those trying to live a more all-around natural life. It’s always a good idea to give the ingredient list a look, even if you don’t have sensitive skin or allergies as it’s a good way to tell what exactly you’re putting on your skin. You can also determine whether or not the list includes nourishing ingredients like shea butter, essential oils, or vitamins. You should also consider the size of the product. You might want to try a smaller size stick if you’re trying a new deodorant for the first time — you don’t want to waste product if it isn’t the right one for you. But if you’ve found one you know you’ll love, there are bulk packs and larger sized products out there that you might want to grab. Lastly, you’ll want to make sure the deodorant doesn’t yellow white shirts and doesn’t leave marks when you pull your shirt on over your head. Many deodorants proudly claim that right on the side of the packaging, so you shouldn’t have to look too hard to find it.
