"This device is basically a manual epilator. That being said if you have never used an epilator before or don’t enjoy the eye and nose watering thrill of ripping the facial hairs from your face with reckless abandon then this product may not be for you. Though I’ve used epilators in the past this is DIFFERENT, this isn’t gently shaving or using a light electric lady facial shaver. This is old world, horse and carriage, waist coat and a pocket watch level archaism with the added savagery of facial mutilation.
It is truly a wonderful product. It does it’s job well but my god does it hurt! I imagine that after awhile you just develop the upper lip and chin toughness of the hulk and the pain no longer bothers you. Don’t do it slowly you’ll only prolong the suffering. I would recommend it."
"This product is truly a life changer for me. I have PCOS and one of the side effects is excessive hair growth, which is a huge problem for a woman. "Ok, so I bought this cream and I was scared to use it based on reviews about this cream. I just applied it on my thick hair on my chin and beneath it. I first left it on for 4 mins, it didn't work so I applied it again for 10 mins, my thick chin hair came out so easily..I wasn't disappointed after all ...

"I love how my face feels and my make up goes on after dermaplaning. I go to a local beauty spa to get it done. With the expense I don’t do it as often as I would love to. A friend of mine said she does her own I thought about trying, but never did. When Covid-19 hit and I was forced to stay home I decided this would an excellent time to try. I found a YouTube video with an “expert” dermaplaner tried different blades from Amazon...this was one of them. Although it wasn’t her favorite of the three she showed it did get the job done. I went to order her favorite which had lots of high reviews, however the low ones and WARNINGS made me skeptical. The blades on it were excellent to the point that it was dangerous...basically a straight razor. One even added she had contacted Amazon to have it removed. I decided for a first timer it wasn’t the one to try. Now for this one....I know I made the right choice. This one doesn’t have the large straight razor edge like the other. To me it’s more of a “safety” edge, but it really removes the hair. The blade is smaller than others I saw which allows you better control for hard areas. I did watch a tutorial YouTube video which I think is needed for newbies like me. Skin prep before and after, the direction, and way you hold the blade I think is key for success. For the money I think this pack is great....I paid $7.99 for a 12 pack. They suggest you can use a several times before disposing of it as long as you use alcohol on it in between. Since you don’t dermaplane that often this pack should last me for quite some time."
